🎟️ Roofman
Based on a true Charlotte story, Roofman hits theaters this Friday. The film follows a man who secretly lived in rooftops and attics around the city—part crime thriller, part local legend. I’ll definitely be checking this one out!

🎃 Charlotte Knights Pumpkin Patch
One day only! Uptown’s biggest pumpkin patch brings a beer garden, local vendors, live music, kids’ inflatables, and all the cozy fall fun you could want.

The Lost Hollow Children’s Garden transforms into a whimsical trail filled with creatively designed scarecrows—perfect for a fall stroll or a family outing.

Charlotte’s Halloween pop-up bar is officially open! Expect spooky cocktails, eerie décor, and a weekly password (check their Instagram) to get in. Open through November 1.

Carolina Theatre continues its first spooky season in decades with a double feature of two horror classics: Frankenstein and the sequel, Bride of Frankenstein.

🏙️ Mecklenburg County Transit Tax Vote
Voters will decide on a proposed 1% sales tax increase (from 7.25% to 8.25%) on November 1. 🗳️ Early voting begins October 16.
Why it matters: If passed, the tax would apply to most everyday purchases, funding improvements to transit, greenways, and infrastructure across the county.
